Adam Benjamin Sawall, 43
Oshkosh, Wisconsin
Adam Benjamin Sawall, age 43, passed away peacefully at home on July 18, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.
Born in Neenah, Wisconsin, Adam lived a life marked by kindness, loyalty, and a deep love for his family and friends. He gave freely of his time and talents—fixing cars, lending a hand, or simply being there with a listening ear.
Adam served as the secretary of Van Dyne Sportsman Club, where his dedication and calm leadership touched many. A skilled mechanic with a true passion for cars, he could often be found under the hood or talking shop with friends. His greatest joy, however, came from family. He was happiest boating under blue skies or riding his motorcycle with the wind at his back.
Known for his warm laugh and welcoming presence, Adam was a friend to all. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Marcella Fritz.
He is survived by his loving wife, Gina Sawall; his children, Samantha Peterson (Mitchell), Rhiannon Wincell and Dathan Wincell; and his treasured grandchildren, Brayden Bortz and Madelyn Peterson.
Friends and family are invited to join in honoring Adam's memory at a Celebration of Life gathering on August 16, 2025, from 2-7PM, at The Cheatin' Heart bar & pub, located at 2839 Harrison St, Oshkosh, WI 54901—a place with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere beloved by locals.
Adam's memory lives on through the lives he touched, the engines he breathed life into, and the love he gave so freely. He was deeply cherished and will be profoundly missed.
