Obituary

God called Adam Home on Wednesday evening, November 12, 2003. He was born in Neenah, WI, to Bruce and Risa Youngbauer Schreiber on July 19, 1987. He asked Jesus to be his Savior on January 14, 1992. Adam attended Plymouth Congregational Church, was an active member in the church high school youth group, "Visions", and loved helping out during the summer Vacation Bible Schools. In July 2002, he went to London and Belgium on a short-term mission trip to help teach European children about Jesus through Vacation Bible School, while there he discovered that others are not as fortunate in their freedoms of religion.

Adam was a sophomore at Oshkosh West High School and was on the freshman baseball team. He was looking forward playing again in spring. He had been on the cross country and basketball teams at South Park Middle School. Adam had high hopes of being a pilot and was a member of Basler's Aviation Explorers Club and attended ground school there. Adam delivered newspapers for the Oshkosh Northwestern for approximately 5 years and was currently employed and very much enjoyed working for Rocky Roccoco's.

Adam was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was very talented at juggling and riding a unicycle. Adam was a happy young man, with a smile always on his face.

Adam will be greatly missed by his parents, Bruce and Risa Schreiber, his sister, Amanda Schreiber; his brother, David Schreiber; his grandmother Edith "Fern" Youngbauer; his aunts and uncles, Connie and Mike Newell, Eric and Jody Youngbauer, Terry Kaiser and Fiancé Keith Kromm, Richard and Joan Schreiber and Caroline Auler, his cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents George and Verna Schreiber, Malvern Youngbauer and his uncle Robert Schreiber.

A private family service was held at Plymouth Congregational Church, 1325 Georgia St. Oshkosh. Pastor Rick Hopkins and Joel Wynn Officiated.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."- John 3:16
