Albert L. Liese, age 72, of Oshkosh, died peacefully at home surrounded by the love and prayers of his family on Thursday evening, August 6, 2009. Albert was born on May 5, 1937 in Berlin, WI the son of Albert and Katherine Martin Liese. He married the former Sharon R. Reynolds on June 18, 1960 at the Elo United Methodist Church. This union was blessed with six children. Al had worked and retired from Oshkosh Coil Springs. He enjoyed going for long rides in the country, playing cards with his wife and going to the casino.

Albert is loved and will be missed by his wife of 49 years, Sharon; his children, Laura (Bucky) Ruedinger, Betsy (Bob) Hemminghaus, Polly (Darren) Reichenberger, Matt (Elizabeth) Liese and Josh (Mandy) Liese all of Oshkosh; grandchildren, Adam, Abigail, Luke, Paul, Mallori, Logan, Jacob, Devin, Emily and Kierstyn; great grandson, Gavin; four sisters, his nephew and his wife, David and Jeannie; other relatives, friends and his dog, Lily. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one son, Frederick.

A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 in the activity room at Marian Manor, 600 Merritt Ave., Oshkosh from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

The family would like to thank Dr. Gremminger and staff, Dr. Al-Bitar, the staff at Mercy Medical Center and Tammy from Affinity Hospice for the care, support and concern shown to Albert and the rest of his family.
