Alfred "Al" John Reisler, age 82, passed away on November 24, 2025, in Wisconsin. He was born on May 29, 1943, to parents, William and Carol Bonita (Hunter) Reisler, in Wisconsin.
After graduating Omro High School, he served in the United States Army and the Wisconsin National Guard from 1964 to 1970. He was an over-the-road truck driver for many years until his retirement.
On July 10, 1993, he married the love of his life, Marlene Norma Hedtke, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. They shared a home full of love.
Al enjoyed woodworking and helped building houses in his free time. He also liked to watch NASCAR and the Green Bay Packers Football team play. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic and kindness he showed to others.
He is survived by children, Clay (Louise) Reisler and Michael (Christine) Schraa; grandchildren, Lauren Schraa, Carly (Alex) Vechart, Annalise Schraa, Brock (Michelle) Reisler and Bennett (Taylor) Reisler; great-grandchildren, Truett, Celeste and Emmett; sister, Hazel (Joe) Martinez; brother-in-law, Brett (Sunny) Hedtke; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceding him in death was his beloved wife, Marlene Norma Reisler; great grandson Jude Vechart; parents, William and Carol Bonita (Hunter) Reisler; parents-in-law, Norman "Fritz" and Hazel (Brusius) Hedtke; and stepson, Gary Zarling.
Visitation will be held at Good Shephard Lutheran Church,

, Wisconsin, on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 9:30am to 11:00am with service to immediately follow. His final resting place will be next to his wife, at Lake View Memorial Park Cemetery, Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in his honor.
