Andrew "Andy" Jacobson, age 80, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Neenah, WI on May 15, 2024. He was born on May 3, 1944, in Antigo, WI to his parents Andrew and Johanna (Spychalla) Bera. After the death of his father, Andy's mother, Johanna, remarried to Alvie Jacobson, who proceeded to adopt Andy. He married Judy Henning on May 17, 1980.

At the age of seventeen, Andy enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps where he served in Vietnam and completed his service in 1965. Upon his departure from the Marines, Andy became a truck driver, driving for the City of Menasha, and most recently with Calnin & Goss in Appleton. In recent years, Andy joined the Winnebago Detachment #357 Marine Corps League, where he was proud to serve on the Honor Guard.

Andy and Judy enjoyed spending much of their free time at their camper at Star Campsite in Bowler, WI. Everywhere they went, they were known as "Uncle Andy and Aunt Judy" Everyone knew and loved them and they were FAMILY to everyone fortunate enough to be part of their lives. Andy also enjoyed deer hunting and spending time with his brother and nephews at deer camp.

Andy is survived by his sister, Rose (Larry) Speener; brothers, Jon Jacobson, Don (Patti) Jacobson, and Thomas (Gwendolyn "Wendy") Jacobson; brothers-in-law, Harvey (Leanne) Henning, Steve (Cora) Henning and Neil (Beth) Pursley; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceding him in death was his wife, Judy; mother, Johanna Jacobson; father, Andrew Bera; adoptive father, Alvie Jacobson; nephews, David Jacobson and Sprynger Jacobson; parents-in-law, Marvin and Helen (Rolfs) Henning; and brother-in-law, John (Barb) Henning.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 1:00 pm-5:00 pm, at the Winnebago Detachment #357 Marine Corps League, 4715 Sherman Rd., Oshkosh, WI 54901. Military Honors to be presented at 3:00pm sharp. Please stop by and join the family in sharing stories, pictures, and memories. Andy's final resting place will be beside Judy at Floral Hill Cemetery in New London, WI.
