Obituary
Barbara "Barb" J. (Martin) Balcerzak, age 63, of Fond du Lac, WI, left the world peacefully on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at home- wrapped tightly in the loving arms of family. She was born on November 3, 1960, to parents, August and Viola (Foster) Martin. She went on to marry Gary Osborne and later to Ronald Balcerzak.
In her early years, she worked as a secretary/ receptionist in a government office. She went on to become an assistant manager at Kmart, then a cook in a nursing facility. She most recently worked as a caregiver specialist.
For many years of her life, she was an avid fisher. She loved gardening and planting flowers, especially Sun Flowers, Lilacs and Peonies. In addition, she enjoyed taking photos of her grandchildren, cooking/ baking, and spending time with family. She treasured the companionship of her beloved fiancé, Dennis and her American Bulldog, Kyra.
Some of her favorite things in life were Cheesecake, Mountain Dew, Peeps, Baklava, Mcintosh Apples, Banana Cream Pie, Laffy Taffy, Dove Chocolate, Angel Food Candy, and Mr. Goodbars.
Barb's greatest accomplishment in life was being a Nana. Her devotion and love for her beloved grand babies was unmatched. Doly (You are my Sunshine), Lucy, Manny, Little Gary, Logan, Boo Boo Bear, Kaysen and Kaleeya Jane. Your hearts and human spirits will be forever filled with Nana's unconditional, devoted love and pride.
She is survived by her children, Jasmine (Brian S.) Scott, Gary (Ashley) Osborne II and Alexis Osborne; eight grandchildren; fiancé, Dennis McAully; sisters, Julie (Dave) Martin and Rayne Schwartz; brothers, Frank Martin and Dale John Martin. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Preceding her in death was her parents, August and Viola (Foster) Martin; sister, Lisa; three brothers; and several aunts and uncles.
Per her wishes, she has been cremated and no service will take place. Barb is now at peace.
