It is with sadness and love that we share the peaceful passing of Barbara Jo Crawley (nee Haidvogl) on June 4th, 2026, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. She was born in Wausau, Wisconsin on January 18th, 1952, to mother, Margaret Ann Haidvogl (Held) and father, Gerald Jerome Haidvogl.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Radha) Meagen Crawley and Aaron Schwaller; granddaughters, Jasmine Skye Schwaller and Mira Shanti Schwaller; sister, Joanne Mary Haidvogl; brother, John Michael Haidvogl and wife Jenny; brother, David Owen Haidvogl and wife Carolyn; and former husband, Steven Crawley.

She attended Wausau East High School. Barbara proudly served in the United States Navy as a Personnelman Third Class Petty Officer and carried on with the sense of camaraderie she gained there in her civilian life. Barbara enjoyed a robust career life, and her positions were always centered on helping others. In Oshkosh, she worked with the Job Service as a Placement Specialist, at Roberts Homes as a Realtor, and a Store Manager with Tuesday Morning where her team was more like family than employees.

Barbara had a beautiful way of seeing people and their potential and gifts, which made everyone feel at ease with her endless sense of humor, humility, connection to spirit and warmth. Barbara enjoyed using her creativity to create beautiful wreaths and decorating her home with warmth and elegance during every holiday, but especially the Christmas season. She had a fierce love for animals, especially her beloved cats. Barbara loved spending time with her family most of all. She will be known for her endless generosity, celebrating every human she knew, her kindness and warmth toward every person she met (there was no such thing as a stranger to her), and her hilarious sense of humor, even in the end moments of her life.

Barbara’s memory will live on forever in the hearts of her family and those who knew her as she is already missed so dearly here on earth. A private graveside memorial with military honors will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please donate to Oshkosh Humane Society or the charity of your choice.
