Barbara J. Dahlen, age 65, of Oshkosh, formerly of West Bend and Milwaukee, passed away Monday, June 13, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center. Barbara was born July 8, 1945, in Milwaukee to Edward and Helen (Kwiatkowski) Kiefer. She graduated from South Division High School and then attended Milwaukee Institute of Technology. She married Lee E. Dahlen on October 16, 1965. Taking care of her family and home were the most important part of her life. She was a member of Westhaven Circle Homemakers Club and First English Lutheran Church.

Barbara is survived and will be missed by her husband, Lee, of Oshkosh; children, Leann (Jim) Ziehr of Port Washington, Lynda Dahlen of Oshkosh and TechSgt Lee J. (Carolyn) Dahlen of Spokane, WA; her grandchildren, Valerie, Hailee, Erik, Jessica, Tony, Gabriel and Caitlynn, numerous other relatives and close family friends.. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Shirley Ketchman and Patricia Hammer.

Barbara's family and friends will gather to honor her memory at the funeral home on Thursday, June 16, 2011, from 2:30 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Michael D. Wachtel Cancer Center in Oshkosh are appreciated.
