Barbara Jean Gustafson, 84 of Fond du Lac, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 28, 2026, at Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. She was born June 3, 1942, daughter of Clifford and Elsie Pickart.
On November 13, 1965, she married Phillip Gustafson, together, they celebrated 49 years of marriage. Barb worked many years at Wells Manufacturing, during which she was Secretary for the Local UAW, she worked most recently as an Administrative Assistant and retired from Hietpas Group. Both Barb and Phil were very involved in the Eagles Club. Barb served as Secretary for the Women’s Auxiliary for many years. They loved to camp and care for their canine companions, Buddy and Codyjo.
Barb is survived by her brothers, Richard (Joyce) Pickart, Steven (Ann) Pickart and David (Kay) Pickart; and sisters, Linda Pickart, Carol Albertz and Loretta White; brothers-in-law, George Riese, Eli (Barbara) Gustafson and Thomas (Marie) Gustafson; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip; parents, Clifford and Elsie Pickart; sisters, Marie Pickart and Julie Riese; brothers-in-law, Ronald White and Robert Gustafson.
As per Barb’s wishes, there will be no funeral services at this time.
