Barbara A. Kunde, age 82, of Oshkosh, died in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, July 14, 2016. She was born October 12, 1933, in Oshkosh, the daughter of Charles and Mary Rose (Welton) Kilbey. Barbara married Richard F. Kunde on September 28, 1951 at Peace Lutheran Church. Before her married life as a homemaker, she worked at Sweet's Nursing Home and as a phone operator for Wisconsin Bell. Barbara was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, her cats and playing cards, particularly cribbage. Barbara also loved reading her Bible and daily devotions.Barbara is loved and survived by her children, Sharon (William) LaPointe of Oshkosh, Eileen Mauritz of Oshkosh, Linda Hall of Princeton, Dawn (Randy) Laatsch of Oshkosh, Judy (Jim Peck) Hillhouse of Oshkosh, Jane (Mike) Cerutti of Stoughton and James (Diana) Kunde of Neshkoro; 18 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; one special granddaughter, Jeri Ann and her furbaby, Chaila. She is further survived by brother in law, Gilbert Kunde of Oshkosh; sisters in law, Charlotte (Julius) Manteufel of Aniwa, WI, Mary Jane (Delvon) Orth of Newton, WI; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard in 1992, her parents; father in law; mother in law; sister, Corliss; stepsister, Betty; sisters in law, Virginia and Helen and infant daughter, Donna Jean Kunde.Visitation will be held on Friday, July 22, 2016, at Peace Lutheran Church, 240 W. 9th Ave., Oshkosh, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
