Obituary
Barbara A. Tierney, 80, went home to her Lord and Savior on Friday, February 14, 2025. She was born in Wausau to Bernard and Magdalene Zastrow on March 29, 1944. She met Richard Tierney while living with her sister in Appleton. They married on February 23, 1963.
Barb and Dick lived in Neenah and raised their three children, Kevin, Allan and Holly. Together, they owned and operated Tierney's Cleaners for 38 years.
She had a very strong faith in Jesus and showed that love to all she met. Everyone was family to her and her home was always open. She had the world's biggest heart. She also made beautiful floral arrangements and made the bouquets for many, many weddings.
Barbara was the heart of her family. Her boisterous laugh, her big hugs and her unconditional love will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband of almost 62 years, Dick; sons, Kevin (Leslie) Tierney and Allan (Debbie) Tierney; daughter, Holly (Mark) Lemire; 14 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at His Church World Outreach Center, 2704 Jackson St., Oshkosh, WI. Visitation will start at 10:30am until 12:00pm, with service to immediately follow.
