Beatrice Joy Nelson Fredin, age 85, of Oshkosh, died peacefully at home surrounded by the love of her family on March 3, 2011. She was born in Winona, Minnesota on May 2, 1925 the daughter of Michael and LaVerna (Corey) Fakler. She is survived and will be missed by her children, Donna (Bob) Weiss, Russ Nelson (Kathy Hunt), Richard (Gini) Nelson, Debra Tracy, Cindy Good (Steve Korth); 17 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; brothers, Bill (Joyce) Fakler and Mike Fakler; sister, Judy (Rick) Ohlendorf; her uncle, Mark (Ceil) Corey; and many friends. Beatrice was preceded in death by her first husband, Russell Nelson; second husband, Gerald Fredin; son, Randall Nelson; grandson, John Weiss; brothers and sisters, Jerry Fakler, Bob Fakler, Nancy Smul and Pat Hernke.

Private family services were held.
