Elizabeth Rae Morasch, age 98, of Oshkosh passed away on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Bella Vista Assisted Living. She was born on February 9, 1928, in Wilmington, NC. On May 6, 1945, she married Alvin Morasch in Conway, SC.
Her many hobbies included silversmithing, gardening, collecting rocks, gems, Indian artifacts and going on archeological digs sponsored by the university. She had a special love and a lifetime of beloved cats. She was an extraordinary and hard-working woman, and she will be missed forever by her family until we meet again.
Survivors include her children, Al Morasch II, Robert (Susan) Morasch, Kathy (Patrick) Lorsung and Sandra (Jeffrey) Dullum; grandchildren, Ashley (Rachel) Morasch, Adena (Michael) Young, Andrew Lorsung, Jacob Dullum and Michelle (Robert) Weisheim; great- grandchildren, Austin Morasch, Ashton Morasch, Cheyenne Weisheim, Brigitte Weisheim, and Charlotte Weisheim.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Augustus and Mary Land; brother, Augustus Land Jr.; and sister, Francis Longnecke; husband, Alvin Morasch Sr.; granddaughter, Alexa Dullum; and daughter-in-law, Peggy Morasch.
A private family service will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at Bella Vista and Moments Hospice for their outstanding, tender care during the last years of her life.
