Betty Jolin born Aug. 21, 1926, in Rib Lake, WI, died March 13, 2013, at the age of 86. She was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School in 1944. She worked for Rummele's Jewelry Store and the Strand Theater (ticket office) during her high school years.
On Aug. 8, 1969, Betty married Wesley Jolin and together they were owner/operators of the T.R. Yellow Cab and Jolin's Resale from 1973 to 1999. They also spent many hours hunting, fishing and picking mushrooms while camping in Lac Du Flambeau, in their motor home during the summer months.
Survivors include her husband, Wesley Jolin; her brother and sister-in-law, Ted and Clareta Huntington; two sisters, Paulene Graebel and "Kitty' Ryan and husband, Dennis; two daughters, Shirley Moore and Judy Durre; and two sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Gloria Luebke and Keith and Dawn Jolin. Other survivors include stepdaughter, Amy and two stepsons, Cary and Mike, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Betty will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
