Bradley F. Van Handel, age 50, of Avon, Indiana passed away Tuesday, June 4th, 2013. He was born March 9th, 1963 in Kaukauna, Wisconsin and was the son of Gordon and Dorothy Van Handel of Menasha, Wisconsin. Brad graduated from Appleton East High School in 1982. While in High School he attained his private pilot's license at the age of 16 years old. He initially, attended and earned his Associates degree from Gateway Technical College in Racine, Wisconsin. His academics continued later where he earned a bachelor's degree from Indiana State University and then went on to earn his master's degree from Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri where he achieved the distinguished honor of being an All American Scholar.
Survivors include his wife Jennifer; Children, Alexander (12) and Vanessa (8); Parents, Gordon and Dorothy Van Handel; Brother Cliff and wife Diane Van Handel their children Natalie and Nicole. Visitation and services will be held for Brad at St. Susanna's Catholic Church, 1212 East Main Street, Plainfield, IN 46168, on Monday, June 10, 2013. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to Noon, with the funeral at Noon.
