Brenda “Nanna” Lee Sundquist, 65, passed away on June 14, 2026, in Oshkosh, WI. She was born to parents, Burt Louis Bartow and Lois L (Brunck) Bartow on June 5, 1961.

She worked for years at Kindred Healthcare as a cook. She was called Nanna by more than 27 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; along with many cousins, nieces, nephews and others . Cookouts were big as all of the family including nieces and nephews came over for her potato and tuna salad, all were welcome. Easter was a big event for her as well with the yard filled with Easter eggs. She was the rock that held family traditions. She will be missed by many.

Brenda is survived by her loving husband of over 33 years, Walter D. Sundquist Jr.; children, Nathaniel (Ashley) Hoetschl, Nick (Emmy) Hoetschl, Daniel Hoetschl, Katie (Cody) Kortbein, Ashley (Andy) Jesse, Bradley Clements, Keshia Sundquist, David Sundquist and Adam Sundquist; brothers, Burt Bartow, Rick Bartow, Kurt Bartow and Kelly Bartow; sisters, Barbara (Alan) Nigl, Cathleen (David) Zarling and Judith Bartow; and sister-in-law, Lynn Bartow.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Burt and Lois; brothers, Russell Bartow and Douglas Bartow.

Per Brenda’s wishes a celebration of life will be held rather than a traditional funeral service to honor the way she was; practical, loving and giving.
