Carola Jean Brunover

Carola Jean Brunover, 83, passed away on September 7, 2026, she was born on November 13, 1942, to parents Edward and Alice (Schuhart) Butzlaff in Oshkosh, WI.
She married the love of her life, Thomas Brunover on September 4, 1965, and they shared nearly 50 years together before he passed in 2015. She was a devoted wife and mother. She loved to create jewelry and go to thrift stores, she always had a special sense of humor and a unique laugh that lit up the room.
Carola is survived by her children, David Brunover, John (Margie) Brunover, Mary LaSelle and Margaret (Mark) Hoppe; grandchildren, Kelli Johnson, Paulette Hopper, Jenny Mooney, Joe LaSelle, Matt LaSelle, Brandon Hoppe, Mercedes Brunover, Merriwether LaSelle and Lisa LaSelle; and many great-grandchildren; brother, David (Carol) Butzlaff; and sister, Linda (Richard) Aulder.
Preceding her in death are her husband, Thomas Brunover; and her parents, Edward and Alice.
Per her wishes, no formal service will be held.
