Caroline Eva Anderson (Conner) passed away January 18, 2026, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Born in Milwaukee, WI, on August 11, 1947, she lived in Mequon, WI until she graduated from Homestead High.
After High School she worked as a secretary until her marriage to John R. Nourse of Oshkosh, April 7, 1966. The two of them lived on the Navy base in Norfork, VA where John was stationed. When they moved back to Wisconsin, they settled in Port Washington where their son, David James Nourse, was born. Three years later, Terri Lynn Nourse was born, followed by their son, Daniel Allen Nourse.
Caroline’s second marriage was to Gary Anderson of Seymour, IN, where they lived quite a few years before she returned to Wisconsin. She lived and worked in Madison until her retirement. A few years later Caroline moved to Appleton. Since 1994, Caroline raised her granddaughter, Tiffany Nicole Nourse.
Caroline leaves behind her son, David of St. Paul, MN (wife Selena); her daughter, Terri of Appleton, WI and son, Daniel of Seymour, IN (wife Courtney); her grandchildren, Conner (David’s son), Amberlyn (Terri’s daughter), Tiffany and Jackson (Dan’s daughter and son); one great-granddaughter, Jae’Leigh (Tiffany’s daughter); her brother, Charles Conner Jr. of DeForest, WI (wife Peggy Kroll-Conner); nephew, Andrew Conner of Watertown (Shannon Roska); and sister, Sharon Ruch of Madison, WI (husband Guenther Ruch).
She will be missed. Family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.
