Celestino M. Mata passed away late Thursday night, July 11, 2019. He was born November 20, 1947 in Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Celestino was a hardworking man who played as hard as he worked. He had a great sense of humor and loved to joke and make others smile. He loved his family.
Celestino is survived by the mother of his children, Ardella; son, Celestino R. Mata; daughter, Hidalia Mata-Gonzalez; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his sister; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother; and his aunt and uncle, Frances and Timmy Melchor.
A Celebration of Life honoring Celestino will take place on Friday, August 2, 2019 from 4pm until 9pm at the City Inn in Berlin, WI.
