Charles B. "Bruce" Helsinger, Sr., age 68, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018. He was born in Rockford, IL on June 11, 1950, the son of the late John and Virginia (Anderson) Helsinger. On August 21, 1971 he married Sharron Steiner. Bruce worked for KNL Services for many years. Bruce was known to enjoy wood burning and fishing in the Rock River. He will be remembered for the love he had for his family.

Bruce is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sharron; children: Charles Helsinger, Jr., Greg Helsinger, Karen (Michael) Beyer, and very special daughter, Leah Waldhart; grandchildren: Shawna, Aaron, Anastsia Helsinger, D.J. Tomcheck (Helsinger), Tobias Helsinger, Davion, Blake, Christine Gildemeister, and Cheyenne, Liam Sexton; sisters: Carol Burns and Dolores (Leroy) Dokken; brothers: James (Susan) Helsinger and Dennis Helsinger; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers:Gene, Terry, David, Donnie, Allen Helsinger, and John Lightheart; and aunts and uncles.

A visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 308 Oneida St., Beaver Dam, WI 53916. Please bring a dish to pass…..
