Charlotte A. Jorgensen, age 86, of Oshkosh, died peacefully Saturday, October 1, 2011, at Bella Vista Manor, where she has resided for the past two years. Charlotte was born March 3, 1925 in Oshkosh, the daughter of Fredrick and Agnes (Schneider) Weber. She had attended school in Oshkosh and graduated from Oshkosh High School. In 1946, she married Donald R. Jorgensen in Oshkosh. Charlotte's passions in life included gardening, biking, golfing and love of dogs. She was a very friendly person and had made many good lasting friendships throughout her life.
Charlotte is loved and will be missed by her daughter, Lynn (Ken) Appleby of Van Dyne; son in law, Lee Van Eperen of King, WI; and by her many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Ann Van Eperen; sister, Helen Borden and brother, Donald Weber.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, October 5, 2011, at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. until the time of the Service of Remembrance at 4:30 P.M. Charlotte will be laid to rest next to her husband at Lake View Memorial Park.
The family would like to thank Generations Hospice, especially Kim and Jesse. They were caring, helpful and compassionate. Also thanks to Dr. Kevin Andrasko who took the time to get to know Charlotte and involved Generations Hospice with Charlotte and her family. Thanks everyone at Bella Vista Manor for their care for the last two years.
