Christopher A. Britten, age 20, of Oshkosh died unexpectedly at home, on October 3, 2013. Christopher was born in Oshkosh on July 26, 1993, the son of Christopher Land, and Nicole (Merrick) Britten. Christopher liked to play computer games, walk around the city of Oshkosh, listen to music, and hang out with his friends. He adored his little sister Autumn and she never failed to bring a smile to his face. Christopher had dreams of moving to California someday.
Christopher will be sadly missed by his mother, Nicole Merrick, father, Christopher Land, stepfather, Jeremy Merrick, sister, Autumn Merrick, step sister, Amber Merrick, step brother, Caleb Merrick,and half-sister, Keandra Land. Christopher will be further missed by his uncles; Jeffrey Britten, Michael Britten, Timothy (Stacy) Hanson, aunt, Bonnie (Rich) Gonia, grandparents, Rita Bresina, and Louis (Karen) Britten. Christopher is also survived by several great aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Christopher was preceded in death by his aunt, Jennifer Hanson, great grandfather, Clarence Bresina, and several great aunts, great uncles, and cousins.
The family will greet friends and relatives on, Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at Fox Cities Funeral and Cremation Services, 3026 Jackson St. Oshkosh, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
