Cynthia L. Kaspar, age 46, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Sunday September 20, 2009. Cindy was born in Oshkosh on January 6, 1963 the daughter of Marlene (Lippold) and Frank Straveler. She was a lifelong resident of Oshkosh, graduating from Oshkosh North High School in 1981. Cindy was married to Michael Kaspar and together they had three beautiful children; Kara, Krista and Seth. Cindy loved animals, the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and going "up north". She also enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her children Kara, Krista and Seth Kaspar of Oshkosh, her father, Frank (fiancé Jinx Meshnick) Straveler, one brother and sister-in-law, Loyal (Kelly) Straveler, nieces and nephews, Megan, Zeke (Kirsten Baker), Maya and Zach Straveler of Oshkosh, grand niece and nephew, Layna and Dylan of Oshkosh, as well as many other relatives, special friends and her canine friend Zena. Cindy was preceded in death by her mother Marlene.
A Memorial Service for Cindy will be held on Thursday September 24, 2009 at 5:30 pm at Fox Cities Funeral Home with the Rev. Gregg Schoeneck officiating. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Thursday from 3:00 pm until time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in Cindy's name. "We love and miss you mom."
