Daniel "Boone" Reetz, age 80, of Oshkosh, passed away on May 2, 2017 at his home. Daniel was born to Reinhold and Doraine (Kahnitz) Reetz on January 24, 1937 in Oshkosh. "Boone" was a graduate of Winneconne High School class of 1956. After High School, he went on to work for Oshkosh Truck as a mail clerk, where he retired from many years later. In 1965 "Boone" married Theresa Spanbauer, whom he shared 45 wonderful years with until her passing in 2011. "Boone" enjoyed the Packers and the Brewers, he enjoyed scratching Wisconsin Lottery tickets, and he had a very funny sense of humor. Daniel is survived by his brothers: Dick (Betty) Reetz of Wisconsin Rapids, Jerry (Judy) Reetz of Winneconne, his brother-in-law: Dennis (Millie) Behm of Oshkosh, as well as many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Daniel is preceded in death by his wife: Theresa Reetz, his parents: Reinhold and Doraine (Kahnitz) Reetz, his sister: Joanne Behm, his brother-in-law: Richard Spanbauer, and his sister-in-law: Rose Reetz. A graveside service for "Boone" will take place on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 11:30 AM at Sacred Heart Cemetery, in Oshkosh, with Sister Pam Biehl officiating.
