Obituary
David W. Braun, 68, passed away Tuesday April 29, 2025 at Aurora Health Center Oshkosh, WI. David was born in Racine June 8, 1956 to Charles A. & Lillian M. Braun. David was a current resident of Necedah, WI and a long-time resident of Racine, WI. David attended J.I. Case High School, "Class of 1974." In July of 1975 Dave met the love of his life, Terri Hudson. Dave met Terri while she was hitchhiking home from Kraut Fest, and they spent the night dancing in the park. Dave knew then that Terri was "the most incredible girl he would ever find." Dave and Terri spent the next 48 years together, until Terri's death on July 20, 2023. Dave and Terri shared their lives with many friends and family, along with some very well-loved canine companions: Drifter, Lady, Kira, Minnie and Suzie. Dave had a tremendous sense of humor, he brought laughter and fun wherever he went. Dave was a loving, trusted friend to many and a cherished brother to his siblings. Dave will be dearly missed by all who had the fortune of being in his life. Survivors include his brothers: Timothy M. Braun of Cathedral City, CA, and Jeffrey A. (Nadine) Braun of Cleburne, TX. His sister Holly M. Bryant of Racine, WI; nephew Christopher (Carrie) Braun and nieces Amanda Penler, Candice Daniel and Presley Lewis. Dave was preceded in death by his wife Terri L. Braun, his mother Lillian M. Braun, his father Charles A. Braun, Sr, and his brother Charles A. Braun, Jr.
