David Frederick Fiss, age 73, of Oshkosh, passed away on February 3, 2011 at home with his wife and his son by his side. He was born September 1, 1937 in Oshkosh, the son of Elizabeth and Charles "Chuck" Fiss. He attended high school in Oshkosh and then attended St. Norbert College. David was a U.S. Army Veteran. He married Judith A. Kelly on July 10, 1971. He had owned and operated the Triangle Tavern for 25 years.

David is survived by his wife, Judith; one son, Andrew; his beloved granddaughter, Clare; sister, Elizabeth Watson and her children, Cassie Watson, Michael (Rishua) Watson, their children, twins, Anabelle & Isabella, and Jasmie; brother, Charles (Sue) Fiss and their children, Charles Fiss, Joseph (Holly) Fiss and Kathy (Kris) Kessenick, their daughter, Gwen and triplets, Nell, Nathan and Nicolle Kessenick; brother, Bill (Pat) Fiss and their children, Jennifer (Eric) Hegge and their children, Nolan, Leyna and Renee Hegge; sister, Katie (Ted) Wilke and their children, Sam and Max Wilke; sister, Mary (Jerry) Colletti and their children, Rebecca (Richard) Robinson and their daughter, Melanie, David (Anna) Colletti and their two boys, Taylor and Mason. David was preceded in death by his parents, younger brother, John Peter Fiss and a niece Jessica Lynn Fiss.

Private family services will be held at the funeral home with Rev. Jim Jugenheimer officiating. David will be laid to rest on the family plot at Riverside Cemetery. Memorials in David's name may be directed to the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin.
