Obituary
David "Dave" C. Stang, age 93, passed away on January 22, 2025, in Mercy Hospital, Oshkosh, Wisconsin. He was born to parents Esther and George Stang on March 12, 1931, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
After high school, David furthered his education in Art Studies. He spent his career helping others pick out the perfect décor and paint to personalize their homes and businesses.
In his free time, he enjoyed reading, drawing and painting.
He is survived by his nieces, Barbara Hopkins and Rebecca Wade; nephew, Jeffrey Stang; and several other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Esther and George Stang (Omro); and his brother, Harold Stang (Oshkosh); sister-in-law, Ruth Edminster Stang (Oshkosh); and grand-nephew, Adam Hopkins (Redgranite).
A Celebration of Life will be planned for Spring 2025.
The family would like to thank Chaplain Nathan, along with Maggie and Candy at Mercy Hospital for their kindness and compassion during David's final moments.
