Obituary

David G. Werner age 81 of Oshkosh passed away peacefully on January 18, 2012 surrounded by the ones he loved. David was born March 13, 1930 in Sheboygan, the son of George and Mildred (Patton) Werner. David was a veteran having served his country proudly during World War II. David was a sales representative for many years and could sell ice to the Eskimos if it was needed.
David is survived by Mary his loving wife of 60 years, his son, Timothy (Sarah) Werner of Richardson, TX, his daughters, Martha (Tom) Hoth of Appleton, and Amy (Jeffrey) Werner of Oshkosh.
He was grandfather to; Jesse (Shannon) Weirnik, Elizabeth (Travis) Nagle, Clarissa Werner, Brigitta Werner, Taylor Werner, Catrina (Kyle) Merritt, Emylee (Ryan) Butzlaff, Grady Butzlaff, Charlene Schaeffer, and Nicole Levick, and great grandfather to eight great grandchildren.
David is also survived by his sisters, Patricia Schroeder, and Michelle Werner and his brother, Terrence (Jan) Werner. Many nieces and nephews are also left to mourn David's passing.
David's parents preceded him in death.
The family will greet friends and relatives on January 24, 2012 at the funeral home with visitation from 1-3p.m. followed by a memorial service at 3:30 p.m. with Father William Van De Kreke presiding.
