Dawn Renee Connell, age 70, passed away on May 6, 2026, in Oshkosh, WI. She was born on December 26, 1955, to parents, Edward and Mary (Trump) Diethman, in Wisconsin.
After graduating high school, she attended some additional college classes for early childhood education. She married Patrick Connell on April 15, 2000, in Lake Mead. Together, they were blessed with 26 years of marriage.
In her free time, she enjoyed thrift shopping, going on adventures and traveling, and listening to classic rock music- especially Lenny Kravitz. She will be remembered for her love of everything.
She is survived by her husband, Patrick Connell; son, Matt Gerstenlaver; grandchildren, Madeus and Shea; brother, Ed (Sue) Diethman; and several nieces, nephews and additional family members.
Preceding her in death was her parents, Edward and Mary (Trump) Diethman, and sister, Chris Diethman.
Per her wishes, no formal services will be held.
