Obituary

Deborah J Schneider left our lives on Saturday September 9th, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center. She began her life in Oshkosh on February 18th, 1965 where she was born into a family of five, this is where her journey into life began. Through this period she lived the life of any child of the time, running about and taking her fair share of cuts and bruises. Unfortunately it was during this time though, that she was diagnosed with type one diabetes, something she would work to overcome for the rest of her life. From that moment on Deb did what anyone would do, continued to live, seeking new experiences and growing as a person both intellectually and physically. With that growth she studied at and graduated from Oshkosh North High, wherein she set her aspirations even higher. Those higher aspirations coalesced in her pursuit and success in attaining a nursing degree from Fox Valley Technical College where she graduated as a certified LPN, an accomplishment she held with great pride. Nursing was truly her passion which she pursued in a variety of nursing homes from Parkview Health Center to Evergreen Retirement Community. At the same time during the completion of her studies she met her future husband Kenneth Schneider, whom she later married, and gave birth to her son Jeremy Schneider, her second pride. A loving mother and caring wife she watched over her family, and in return her family did the same. It turned out to be the support she would need after suffering a heart attack in 1997 and eventually becoming disabled and unable to work. But this turn of events would not slow her down either. Determined she fought her diseases tooth and nail, living the best life she could, but not without the loving helping hands of her sister, son and husband. While she was preceeded in death by her husband it did not slow her, while the biggest hands may have gone there were still others. With that support she was seen back to the husband she had lost by her son, whom will greatly miss her. She is survived by her son Jeremy Schneider, her sisters Sharon and Betty, and her brother Joe. She will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she had touched in one way or another.
