Obituary
Delores D. (Werch) Dorn, age 87, passed away on November 9, 2023, in Neenah, Wisconsin. She was born to parents, Edmund and Irene (Otto) Werch, on May 24, 1936, in Berlin, Wisconsin.
She married the love of her life, Larry, on December 20, 1958. They spent over sixty-four wonderful years together. They also raised four children together.
Delores enjoyed fishing, traveling, going on cruises, playing cards and slots, and cheering for her favorite football teams (Packers and Vikings). She was well known for baking the best cookies for her family and friends, and will be remembered for her kind, caring and strong heart.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Dorn; children, Leroy (Karen) Dorn, Michael (Kari) Dorn, and John (Becky) Dorn; sister, Carol (Dave) Tipler; eight grandchildren, Crystal Kiesow, Katrina Kiesow, Eric Dorn, Bryan Dorn, Tyler (Ashtyn) Dorn, Bailey (Carter) Mathisen, Shawn Dorn and Cory Dorn; great-grandson, Forrest Dorn, with another great-grandchild on the way; son-in-law, James Kiesow; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents, a daughter, Donna Kiesow; sister, Arlene (Ray) Terrien; and brother, Edmund Werch Jr.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at Fox Cities Funeral and Cremation, at 3026 Jackson St., Oshkosh, Wisconsin, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family will be establishing a memorial fund.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the ThedaCare Oncology team in Neenah, Wisconsin, as well as the ThedaCare at Home Hospice nurses, for the care given to Delores during her final days.
