Diana Kay (Flaagan) Mulvey, age 62, of Oshkosh, WI, passed away on October 1, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center, Oshkosh, WI.She was born April 2, 1949 at McVille Community Hospital, McVille, ND, the daughter of Arvid and RosadellFlaagan. She graduated high school from Tolna, ND. July 30, 2004, she married the love of her life, Jerry Mulvey.
Diana loved to bake and had a great passion for the outdoors, flower gardens, vegetable gardens, hunting, camping and fishing. She looked forward to planning and hosting their annual Halloween party and hayride, with her husband Jerry. Christmas was another of her favorite holidays. She would decorate their home storybook perfect. Diana loved family get-togethers. She would be the first to reminisce about sibling pranks while growing up. Her passion for baking was enjoyed by many through her job working for Schoenberger's Pastry Shops. The best part of the family get-togethers was looking forward to Diana's cakes and cupcakes. She was a hard worker, enjoyed the simpler things in life and was very caring and giving, expecting nothing in return.
She is survived by her husband Jerry; four sons: Dale Jr, Dean, Dan, and Dusty Kraft, ND; two stepsons: Scott Mulvey, Oshkosh, WI and James Mulvey, Shawnee, OK; two stepdaughters: Coleen James, Brillion, WI and Kristen Mulvey, Green Bay, WI; mother RosadellFlaagan; five sisters: Pamela (Glen) Cornstock, Battleground, WA; Rosie (Mike) Krein, Bismarck, ND; Peggy Johnson, McVille, ND; Rita (Larry) Davis, Platte City, MO;Jule (Roger) Carman, Vancouver, WA; three brothers: Steven Flaagan, Anchorage, AK; Chester (Karen) Flaagan, Pekin, ND;Keythe (Dawn) Flaagan, Cavalier ND; her mother-in-law and father-in-law Francis and Addie Mulvey, Neenah, WI; two sisters-in-law: Sharon Mulvey, Madison, WI and Julie (Dennis) VonHolzen, Winneconne, WI; three brothers-in-law: Edward (Jean) Mulvey, Neenah WI; Alan (Linda) Mulvey, Bradenton, FL; Todd (Amanda) Mulvey, Long Lake, WI; numerous nieces and nephews, step-grandchildren and many dear friends.She was preceded in death by her father Arvid; one brother, Kurt; two sisters: Arvidell and Peggy Jean Flaagan; one brother-in-law, Steven Johnson; and many aunts and uncles.
The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation for the care given to Diana while she was in the ICU at Mercy Medical Center.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. You are encouraged to bring a memory to share. Her final resting place will be Sigdal Church Cemetery, Tolna, ND.
