Diane Kay (Johnson) Gasper of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, formerly of Millington, Michigan, age 73, passed away at her home with family on Monday morning, May 19, 2025, after a battle with cancer.
A memorial celebration of life will be held for close friends at her home in Oshkosh, WI, on May 23, 2025, to be followed by her internment at Thetford Township Cemetery in Michigan.
Diane was born in Flint, Michigan, to the late George and Donna Johnson. She was married to Matthew "David" Gasper on July 2, 1971, in Deming, New Mexico.
She especially enjoyed baseball, following her favorite team, the Detroit Tigers. She enjoyed reading, tending to her flower garden, keeping an immaculate home, doting on her grandchild, and flying with her daughter & son-in-law.
Surviving is her daughter, Dawn (Bret) Lowell of Aurora, Colorado; son, Troy Shields of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; grandchild, Lance Lowell; sisters and brother, Jan Stanton, Don (Regina) Johnson, JoAn (DeForest) Kenemer and Brenda (Greg) Urban; and her nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, David Gasper; and parents, George and Donna Johnson.
