Diane M. Hershberger, 80, passed away on June 12, 2026. She was born on May 31, 1946 in Berlin, WI to Reinhardt and Viola (Duering) Schendel.
Diane graduated in 1964 from Berlin High School. She married Milton “Lee” Hershberger on August 12, 1965. Diane graduated from FVTC in 1982 and went on to work as an LPN at Mercy Medical Center, later she worked at Originals Mall of Antiques in Oshkosh. She enjoyed reading and traveling with her husband, Lee.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Lee Hershberger; children, Chris (Margy) Hershberger of Oshkosh, Tim Hershberger of Omro and Karen (Isidro) Garza of Oshkosh; ten grandchildren, Dylan Hershberger, Brianna Hershberger, Cody Rezanow, Josh (Sarah) Hershberger, Alex Hershberger, Nathan Hershberger, Katlyn Hershberger, Zach Garza, Nick Garza and Brittany Garza; and great-grandchildren, Raelyn and Skylar. She is further survived by her sister, Deloris (Jack) Lungwitz of Redgranite; as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Diane is preceded in death by her brothers, John and Richard Schendel; and sister, Deloris (Jack) Lungwitz.
Per her wishes, no formal services will be held and cremation has taken place.
