Diane M. Knapp, age 57, of Wild Rose, died Monday evening, April 25, 2016, at her home. She was born on September 10, 1958 in Ventura, California, the daughter of Eugene and Dolores (Collins) Glasner. After losing her mother very early in her life, Diane came to know Betty Glasner as her mother.Family was an important part of Diane's life and those times will always be cherished by her family. Diane loved to be in the garden regardless if it was vegetables or flowers. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Saxville, Wisconsin.Survivors include two daughters, Susan (Matt) Butkiewicz and Kimberly Ames, both of Oshkosh; her significate other, Roger Carpenter of Wild Rose; five grandchildren, Marissa, Bradley, Madison, Lincoln, and Finn; her father, Eugene (Margaret) Glasner of Arizona; her mother, Betty Glasner of Louisiana; a brother, Steven Glasner of Colorado; a sister-in-law, Brenda Glasner of Indiana; and nieces and nephews. Preceding Diane in death is her biological mother, Dolores Glasner and a brother, William Glasner.A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Fox Cities Cremation Services, 3026 Jackson Street. The family wishes to thank the Heartland Hospice nurses and staff for their care of Diane through this difficult time.
