Diane L. Smoody, age 78, passed away, passed away on October 4, 2024, in Oshkosh, WI. She was born to parents, Raymond and Alma (Markofske) Smoody on April 7, 1945, in Wisconsin.
After high school, Diane continued her education and achieved a bachelor's degree in science. She went to work for Mercy Medical Hospital for many years and worked her way up to ICU Head Unit Clerk. She was respected among her peers for being resourceful, able to multi-task and strong-minded.
She enjoyed gardening, collecting recipes and cookbooks, crafting many pretty trinkets and loved cats- especially her Rags.
Diane is survived by her brothers, John Smoody and Jim (Lynne) Smoody; her nieces; great-nieces; and many other family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Raymond and Alma (Markofske) Smoody.
Per her wishes no service will be held. Her final resting place will be at Lake View Memorial Park, in Oshkosh, WI.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to help the family with final costs.
