Dolores will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Dolores had a warm and welcoming home where everyone was always invited to gather around her kitchen table. Whether you stopped by for a visit or stayed for a while, you could count on being offered snacks, treats, and her signature grilled cheese or poached egg on toast.
As a young woman, Dolores radiated energy and joy. She loved staying active- golfing with her sisters in fits of laughter, practicing calisthenics, and embracing the outdoors with family and friends at "The Land." In her later years, she found joy in the simple rituals of connection: Sunday catch-up calls with her siblings, coffee and doughnuts shared with loved ones, and lovingly preparing Christmas Eve feasts that brought everyone together. She had a generous heart and a creative spirit, sewing thousands of colorful pillowcases to donate to ConCur Cancer.
Dolores was an avid reader who passed on her love of books to her children and grandchildren, inspiring a lifelong appreciation for stories and learning. She could be strong-willed, but it was always paired with deep love, care, and a desire to make others feel at home.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at South Park Brown Pavilion, 1300 Georgia St., Oshkosh, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm.
