Donald E. Grant Sr. age 74 of Neenah died unexpectedly at his cottage in Fence, WI, on November 22, 2011. Donald was born on August 14, 1937 in Neenah, WI, the son of Ernest and Elsie (Ropella) Grant.

Don is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Donna and their five children; Dawn (Don) Meyer, Kathy ( Tom) Ganzel, Don Jr. ( Kim), Tammy ( Richard) Sprague and twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Don spent countless hours working as a gunsmith. He was passionate about his "special" shelties and his bird Max. He also cared for Mr. & Mrs. D, the neighborhood ducks.

Don was employed by: Whiting Paper Mill, Matthews Tire & Auto and was working for Murphy Concrete & Construction.

Don was preceded in death by his mother; Elsie Ropella, his father Ernest Grant, daughter Kelly Fay Grant, and his grandson Aric Sprague.

Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Saturday November 26, 2011 with visitation from 4-7p.m. followed by a service at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established by the family.
