Douglas "Uncle Doug" Ray Ditch, age 59, passed away on April 14, 2024, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. He was born on October 25, 1964, in Wisconsin.
Doug started his work career as a Carnie, he absolutely loved it. He then took on other roles such as maintenance work and caring for residential properties.
He enjoyed fishing at local car ponds, going to explore art festivals and playing pool. Doug had a passion for cooking for family and friends. He was also a "jack of all trades," often working on various projects in homes. On game days, he would root for his favorite team- The Packers.
Doug will be remembered for being helpful and always ready to give the shirt off his back to those in need. He will be dearly missed by many.
He is survived by his best friend of 51 years, Fred Rolph; surrogate father, Thomas Putzer (friends of 25 years); close friend of 36 years, Roxanne Rolph; bonus nieces and nephews, Paige Deschane and Jacob Ralph; great-niece, Lillian; great-nephew, Logan; and additional family and friends.
Preceding him in death was hi mother; father; and sisters, Dawn and Laura.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 27,2024, starting at 2:00pm, at 1843 Simpson St., Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
A special thank you to friend/previous roommate of 10 years, Jeremy Reynolds; friend/current roommate of 7 years, James P; for always being there for him. Also, close friend, Roxane; for taking such great personal care of him during the final week of his life.
