Elaine Emily (Tuchscherer) Juneau
Born to Raymond J. Tuchscherer & Loretta (Hoffman) Tuchscherer, Dec. 10, 1921; passed away March 17, 2013.
Elaine was married to Patrick V. Juneau on Oct. 27, 1942 at St. Margaret Mary Church, Neenah. She was preceded in death by her husband Patrick. Elaine's children and grandchildren were the most important part of her life.
From the age of 14, Elaine was an active volunteer in many areas. She loved sports, was an avid bowler in her younger years, and a die-hard Packer fan. She loved music and sang in a number of choirs, including the St. Margaret Mary choir, from 1970-2005. She enjoyed knitting, needle work, reading, family and friends, and was a well-liked individual. She was a great cook, especially with lemon meringue pie and Christmas cookies.
Elaine is survived by her four sons: Paul Juneau, Oshkosh; Robert Michael (Susan) Juneau, Neenah; Peter (Wendy) Juneau, Appleton; and James Juneau, Oshkosh;
Seven grandchildren: Jennifer, Patrick (Katie), and Andrew Juneau; Margaret (Jimmy) Jones; Charlie (Melissa) Weldon; Tom (Deidre) Rippl; Katie (Brian) Weber;
Ten great grandchildren: Travis Bailey; Elizabeth Jones; Hunter and Blake Weldon; Patrick Jr., Wyatt and Gracelynn Juneau; Katelyn and Julius Rippl; Caroline Weber;
One brother: Gene (Carol) Tuchscherer; one sister: Joan (Dan) Holloway; and one sister-in-law, Charlotte Tuchscherer.
Elaine was also preceded in death by her sister Loretta Kohfeldt, her brother Raymond Tuchscherer Jr., and daughter-in-law Catherine Juneau.
It was Elaine's wish to have no formal funeral service. A private family service will be held as she is laid to rest with her husband Patrick at St. Margaret Mary cemetery. A memorial fund to the Neenah Animal Shelter (ICO Elaine Juneau; 951 County Trunk G, Neenah, WI 54956) is being established.
The family would especially like to thank the staff at Sterling House of Neenah, where mom spent her final days, for their care and friendship.
