Elizabeth M. Bruno, age 90 of Appleton, formerly of Chicago and Arizona, passed away, Sunday, October 15, 2006, at home with her family by her side. She was born in Chicago Illinois on November 15, 1915. On June 17,1939, she married Anthony J. Bruno and were married for fifty six years until his death. Elizabeth's interests included, bowling, card games, reading, crafts, spending time with her grandchildren, and being a member of St. Paul Elder Day Care. Elizabeth is survived by her two children, Emily Jean (Jeff) Bahr, and Peter William Bruno, her six grandchildren, Lisa Marie Baker, Allen Steven (Kelly) Voss, Daniel Edward Payne, Denise Krupp, Tony and Russell Bruno, eleven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony, her parents, and six sisters. A Funeral Mass for Elizabeth will be celebrated on Thursday, October 19, 2006, at 1:00 P.M., at St. Thomas More Catholic Church (Appleton) with the Rev. Gerald Falk officiating. Visitation will be held at church on Thursday from 12:00 P.M. until time of services. The family wishes to thank Father Falk, Ministry Home Care, Affinity Hospice, especially nurses Rachel and Jeanean, and Home Instead Senior Care, and their aides Jenny Erickson and Linda Kostecki.
