Elroy "Butch" Rahmlow Jr. age 64, of Oshkosh, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on October 11, 2011. Butch was born on February 20, 1947. He married Lucille Phillips on October 4, 1965. Butch spent over 25 years working for Wisconsin Automated Machine. Butch in his free time enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing, and spending time with his grandkids. He was a gentle and loving man.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Lucille; his sons, Rick (Stacey) Rahmlow of Oshkosh, and JR (Jill) Rahmlow of Oshkosh; his grandchildren, Kristen, Caitlin, Cody, Dillon, and Brooke. He is also survived by his brother, Bernard (Janice) Rahmlow, sisters, Beth (Ed) Oesterreich and Becky Bor: and other relatives and friends. Butch was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters; Barb Frank, Beverly McCalmon, Bonnie Peterson, and brother, Brian Rahmlow.
Family and friends will gather at First English Lutheran Church, 1013 Minnesota St., Oshkosh, on Thursday, October 13, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 6:00 p.m. with the Rev. Martin Ruge officiating. A memorial fund is being established.
