Obituary
Elsie May (Bjorklund) Ridarelli, age 91, passed away on August 4, 2024, in Appleton, Wisconsin. She was born to parents John and Bertha Bjorklund on November 17, 1932, in Chicago, Il. She was one of five children.
Right out of high school, she married Louis Ridarelli, in Chicago, IL. They had three children together and raised them until his passing. Elsie made her way to Wisconsin to be closer to relatives and friends.
She enjoyed laughing, drinking coffee, and being around others. Elsie treated everyone like family, she was very compassionate, accepting and loving. While she wouldn't give up an opportunity to win in a game of cribbage or gin rummy, she would be there to help wherever she could. In her spare time, she could often be found rooting for the contestants on the Game Show Network.
Elsie is survived by her son, William (Velauni) Ridarelli; grandchildren, Amanda (Daniel) Yahr, Zac Pulver, Keli Blatz, Bill Ridarelli Jr., Emily Ridarelli and Holly Ridarelli; great-grandchildren, Carson, Bentley, Saya, Rayvin, Easton and Jacob; sister-in-law, Barbara Bjorkland; best friend, Caryn Siradas; special niece, Gina (Jon) Velez; and many other cousins, nieces, nephews, family, friends and neighbors.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Louis Ridarelli; daughters, Janet Ridarelli and Nadine Blatz; parents, John and Bertha Bjorklund; siblings, Robert Bjorkland, Edward Bjorkland, Gale Fusello, Joyce Goland; special friends, Duffy Cochenet and Diane Mall.
Per her wishes, no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be set up in her honor.
