Elwys Arnold Knight "Jack" passed away on Friday, June 8, 2018 at the age of 85. Preceded in death by his parents Clifford and Ruth (Barden) Knight, his loving wife Chestine (Buczek), his brother Gary Knight, and his son Kelly Ryan. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict where he was stationed in Alaska. Elwys worked as a pipefitter in Wisconsin, Florida, and Michigan. Chestine and Jack won the Michigan lottery so they moved from Wisconsin to Michigan where they bought a farm in Trout Creek, Michigan. He then volunteered all his free time while in the Knights of Columbus. He held many offices during his time in the Knights. He will be remembered for his storytelling, service to his country and his time in the Knights of Columbus.

Elwys is survived by his nephews: Scott (Vicky) Reiter and Jeff Vijaya; and special friend, Judy.

A remembrance service will be held on June 23, 2018 from 2pm until 4pm at Bella Vista, 631 Hazel St., Oshkosh.
