Eric D. Klitzke, passed away on May 31, 2022 after a long fought battle against cancer. He spent 32 years married to his high school sweetheart, Michele (Kranz) Klitzke. Born on August 8, 1968 in Oshkosh, WI, he was the son of Dale and Diane Klitzke. He graduated from Oshkosh North High School in 1986. Eric enjoyed hot summers, cold Pepsi, and the Green Bay Packers. Up until his last days his granddaughters brought him the most joy. Eric held immense pride as he watched his oldest granddaughter play hockey with the Oshkosh Warbirds. He looked forward to playing cards with his mom on the weekends. His dog Shadow and cat Emily will miss him dearly.

Eric is survived by his wife, Michele; mother, Diane (Tom); grandmother, Lucille Koch; children: Ashley (Troy) and Corey (Morgan); and his three granddaughters: Savannah, Everly and Lakelyn. He was preceded in death by his father, Dale.

Eric's family would like to extend the most gratitude and appreciation to his caregivers from Bright Horizons: Brittany, Amy, Barb and the entire Aurora Hospice care team. Without their continued care and support, Eric would not have been able to remain at home, which was his wish.

A visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the memorial service at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, June 10, 2022 at Fox Cities Funeral and Cremation Services.
