Obituary
Eric James Munsch, age 35, passed away unexpectedly on February 22, 2024. He was born to parents, Gregory and Donna (Ostertag) Munsch on May 30, 1988, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Eric's family moved to Berlin, Wisconsin when Eric was in second grade, where his mom taught elementary art.
After high school, Eric attended Fox Valley Technical College and obtained his certification in the culinary arts. He had many jobs over the years and was always considered hard working and conscientious.
Eric loved grilling food, learning about folklore, listening to classic rock music and going to state parks. Some of his favorite times were spent traveling to Las Vegas and Canada with his brother, Adam. He also enjoyed playing games with his nieces and carving the turkey during Thanksgiving Dinner at Uncle Harvey's house. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and Tuckaroo, the family pup.
He is survived by his parents, Gregory and Donna Munsch; brothers, Matthew (Mandy) Munsch and Adam Munsch; nieces, Eloise and Josephine; uncle, Gary Ostertag; aunts, Debra (Harvey) Boushele and Laura (Tom) Stark; cousins, Amy Boushele, Kim Lyngen and Jenny VanKeuren; and many other family members and friends.
Preceding him in death was grandparents, Frank (Sylvia) Ostertag and James (Marilyn) Munsch; and uncle, Gary "computer guru" Munsch.
A private family service will be held. His final resting place will be at Lake View Memorial Park Cemetery, Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
