Obituary
Erin Joel-Waters, age 67, passed away on November 10th, 2025, in Oshkosh, WI. She was born April 25th,1958 to parents Rosemary England (Salm) and Edward Joel.
Erin enjoyed working as a cake decorator, bar owner, and restaurant manager. In her spare time, she rode motorcycle, attended concerts, planted flowers, listening to music, and cooking new recipes and thrifting. Most of all she enjoyed time with her grandchildren. A free spirit, a fighter, a woman with a passion for leaving things better than she found them. Erin found it easier to recreate herself for a better future than to dwell on the past. She used humor and truth to elevate her relationships and see the beauty of this world through nature and its activity. Erin had a strong love for animals no matter big or small from riding horses to housing many rodents, reptiles, cats, and dogs, the most beloved of them all her dog Pharaoh.
Erin is survived by her children, Karolyn (Nathan) Hedquist, Kody (Karen) Schroeder and Kasandra (Brad) Toseland; grandchildren, Konner, Keyonna, Natalie, Lukas and Malachi; her siblings, Sharon Gonnering, Peggy Joel, Jon Joel, Vicki (Rick) Van Lankvelt, Larry (Deb) Joel and Kerry Rushing along with many other family members and friends.
Preceding her in death were her mother, Rosemary England (Salm); father, Edward Joel and brother, Edward Joel.
