Obituary
Ernest Rose Jr., 92, passed away on June 23, 2024. He was born in Antigo, WI to Ernest Sr. and Ruth (Clay) Rose on June 14, 1932. Ernest proudly served in the Army, making the rank of Staff Sergeant.
Ernest loved to visit the casino and play games there, he also enjoyed tending and cultivating his garden as well as cooking.
He is survived by his children, Cindy (Rick) Rates, Jackie Douglas and Jamie (Kim Johnson) Rose; grandchild, Zachary Rose; special niece, Dawn Rose; special friends, Joyce, Hattie Barlett, Tim and Jane, and Roger; as well as many other nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
He is preceded by his wife, Virginia Rose; granddaughter, Amanda Rose; siblings, Marceline, Frieda, Lyle, Pauline, June, and Siede.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Alzoubi and the staff at Aurora Medical Center - Oshkosh for their care over the years.
