Mrs. Eva M. King Hobson "Mae Mae" Sunrise July 4, 1922 - Sunset May 20, 2014. She was born in Emanuel County, GA., on July 4, 1922 to the late Nancy Strobridge and Gus Wiggs who preceded her in death. She loved and touched everyone she came in touch with. She attended the Emanuel County School System until she moved to Jenkins County, Millen, Ga. where she completed her education. She married Mr. Emory King, Sr. where five children were born. Four preceded her in death, Jesse, Jack, Emory, Jr. and Alma. She later married Mr. Albert Hobson who also preceded her in death. Two son in laws who went on before her were Eddie Lee Gay and Junious Chishom, Jr., one grandchild, Marion and one great grandchild, Corrinne.

She leaves to mourn her memories, one daughter, Nancy Chishom of Oshkosh, WI, one adopted daughter, Dorothy Sheppard of Richmond, New Jersey; one brother/cousin, Jack Roberson of Daria, FL. and one sister/cousin, Ida M. Williams of Fort Lauderdale, FL; 14 grandchildren, a host of great grands and great great grands; a host of cousins and lots of kids that she helped raise and lots of friends.

Memorial Service for Mae Mae will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2014, at 2:30 p.m. at Victory Baptist Church, 608 Jefferson St., Oshkosh, with Reverend Paul Stevens officiating.
