Ewald Arthur "Chuck" Ziebell, 89, of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, passed away on April 18, 2024 at Aurora Medical Hospital. He was born on January 27, 1935.

Chuck, as he was fondly known, had a fulfilling career as a Construction Worker. His dedication to his work was evident in the projects he completed over the years. Ewald married Betty Colka on November 20, 1954.

In his leisure time, Chuck found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved the outdoors and country living. Hunting, fishing, and tending to his garden brought him immense happiness. Most of all, he cherished the moments spent with his daughter, Deborah, and grandson, Joshua. The laughter of his great-grandchildren, Maddox and Malia, filled his heart with warmth.

Chuck is survived by his daughter, Deborah Toler; grandson, Joshua (Arika) Toler; great-grandchildren, Maddox and Malia; and sister-in-law, Agnus Ziebell.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty J. (Colka) Ziebell; his parents, Walter and Margaret (Smoody) Ziebell; and brothers, Robert, Otto, and Ernie Ziebell; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Ascension Medical Hospital, Omro Care, and Aurora Medical Hospital for the loving care during the last two weeks before his death. A special thanks goes to Jeff, an ICU-RN, at Aurora Medical Hospital for his time and care he spent with Chuck.

Private family services were held.
